Tari Iyo-Iyo merupakan tarian tradisional yang berasal dari daerah Jambi yang biasanya dilaksanakan berasamaan dengan upacara kenduri sko. Keberadaan tari Iyo-Iyo sudah adasejak lama. Berdasarakan makna harfiahnya, kata iyo_iyo berarti mengiyakan atau iya, maksudnya hal yang disampaikan oleh para nenek moyang atau pemimpin adat.
Para wanita sambil melakukan tarian tradisional dengan meneriakan kata "iyo-iyo" pada saat diturunkan pusaka dari tempanya, bahkan para wanita tersebut tidak hanya sekedar menari, tetapi juga sambilbernyanyi. Adapaun syairlagu yang dinyanyikan para wanita tersebut antara lain:

Sebelum pusaka tersebut diperlihatkan di hadapan parahalayak, terlebih dahulu pusaka yang sudah diturunkan dicuci, dan parawanita kembali menarikan iyo-iyo dengan diiringi musik yang terdiri atasgendang, gong dan gumbe.
Masyarakat Sungai Penuh Kabupaten kerinci Provinsi Jambi, sampai saat ini masih menjaga tradisi ihni dengan menari Iyo-iyo padasaat kendusri sko. Selain pada upacarasko, tarian iyo-iyo juga sering dilakukan padaupacara penurunan pusaka, pengangkatan pemangku adat. Tarian Iyo-iyo sebagai bentuk penghormatan dan pengagunganb terhadap alam semesta, nenek moyang, maupun pemangku adat sebagai pimpinan.[1]\
