Pune ialah sebuah kota di Maharashtra, India. Permainan bulu tangkis ditemukan di sini pada abad ke-19. Lalu kota ini juga ternama sebagai tempat Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute di mana para pakar antara tahun 1919 dan 1966 mempersiapkan suntingan teks lengkap dari Mahābhārata.
