Stephenson King adalah seorang politikus Saint Lucia yang saat ini menjabat sebagai Perdana Menteri. Ia mewakili konstituensi Castries Utara untuk Partai Pekerja Bersatu (UWP) dalam Majelis Umum saint Lucia.[1]
King bekerja pada pemerintah di bawah Perdana Menteri John Compton tahun 1990-an sebagai Menteri Kesehatan dan Pemerintah Lokal.[2] Compton meninggal 7 September 2007 dan King mengumumkannya pada 8 September.[3]
King disumpah sebagai Perdana Menteri oleh Gubernur Jenderal Pearlette Louisy tanggal 9 September.[4][5] Sepuluh anggota UWP di Majelis Umum menyetujui penetapan King sebagai Perdana Menteri.[5] King mengatur kabinet tanggal 12 September; selain menjadi Perdana Menteri, ia juga merupakan Menteri Keuangan, Keuangan Internasional, Luar Negeri, Dalam Negeri dan Keamanan Nasional.[6]
