'St. George adalah sebuah kota di Washington County, Utah, Amerika Serikat, dan terletak di barat daya Utah di perbatasan Arizona, ini adalah kota utama St. George Area Statistik Metropolitan (MSA). Kota ini terletak di bagian paling timur laut dari Gurun Mojave, bersebelahan dengan Pine Valley Mountains dan dekat pertemuan tiga wilayah geologis dan ekoregion yang berbeda: Gurun Mojave, Dataran Tinggi Colorado, dan Great Basin.[4] Kota ini berjarak 118 mil (190 km) timur laut Las Vegas, Nevada dan 300 mil (480 km) selatan-barat daya Salt Lake City, Utah pada Interstate 15.

Pada Sensus AS 2020, kota ini memiliki populasi sebesar 95.342, dengan MSA keseluruhan memiliki perkiraan populasi 180.279.[5][6] St. George adalah kota terbesar ketujuh di Utah dan kota terpadat di negara bagian di luar Wasatch Front.

Kota ini diselesaikan pada tahun 1861 sebagai misi kapas, membuatnya mendapat julukan "Dixie". Sementara tanaman tidak pernah menjadi komoditas yang sukses, daerah tersebut terus bertambah populasinya. Antara tahun 2000 dan 2005, St. George muncul sebagai wilayah metropolitan dengan pertumbuhan tercepat di Amerika Serikat.[7] Saat ini, wilayah St. George terkenal dengan rekreasi luar ruangannya sepanjang tahun dan kedekatannya dengan beberapa taman negara bagian, Taman Nasional Zion dan The Grand Canyon. Universitas Teknologi Utah terletak di St. George dan merupakan institusi NCAA Divisi I.
