Sonus Quartet

Sonus Quartet adalah kelompok musik kwartet berdawai, yang terdiri dari Caroline Campbell (violin I), Kathleen Sloan (violin II), Neel Hammond (viola), dan Vanessa Freebairn-Smith (cello). Freebairn-Smith and Hammond formed Sonus Quartet membentuknya pada tahun 2003.[1]

Komposisi

Sonus memiliki aransemen yang didukung oleh John Frusciante dari The Empyrean,[2] Van Hunt untuk On The Jungle Floor dan Martina Topley-Bird untuk The Blue God, yang terdapat pada album Boyz II Men[1] dan One Eskimo. Sonus telah tampil di Los Angeles, biasanya pada gedung seni The Bootleg Theater, Room 5[2], Molly Malone's, juga pada Gedung seni Walt Disney[3]. Musiknya seperti musik abad ke -15an seperti [4]madrigal atau seorang [5]Shostakovich kwartet, dan musik terkenal dari The Cure atau Clint Mansell’s Lux Aeterna.

Film

Sonus pernah bermain bersama komposer Clint Mansell[3] dan berkontribusi dalam proyek skoring bersama Mansell's pada film Moon (2009).[4]
