Shamitabh adalah sebuah film komedi-drama India 2015 yang ditulis dan disutradarai oleh R. Balki.[5][6] Film tersebut menampilkan Dhanush, Amitabh Bachchan dan Akshara Haasan, dalam debut-nya, dalam peran utama.[7] Film tersebut secara bekerjasama diproduksi oleh Sunil Lulla, Balki, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, R. K. Damani, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Manchanda dan Dhanush dibawah spanduk produksi respektif mereka. Ilaiyaraaja mengkomposisikan album soundtrack-nya dan skor latar belakang-nya, sementara sinemtografi-nya ditangani oleh P. C. Sreeram.[8] Film tersebut dirilis dengan ulasan positif dan pujian para kritikus terhadap penampilan Dhanush dan Amitabh.
