Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Muhammadiyah Lamongan

Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Muhammadiyah Lamongan atau Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan (disingkat UMLA) adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan tinggi di kota Soto tepatnya di kabupaten Lamongan] provinsi Jawa Timur. UMLA berdiri sejak 12 Oktober 2018, berdasarkan SK Menteri Ristek Dikti Nomor 880/KPT/I/2018 tentang Ijin Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan. SK tersebut langsung diberi oleh Presiden RI Joko Widodo, bersamaan ijin 6 Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah di Indoneisa, diantaranya Stikes Muhammadiyah Lamongan, Stikes Muhammadiyah Kudus, Stikes Muhammadiyah Wonosobo, Stie Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta, Akademi KebidananAisyiyah Banten, dan Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah Sorong, saat peresmian Masjid Ki Bagus Hadikusumo di Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan.

Berdirinya Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan merupakan hasil penggabungan antara Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Muhammadiyah dan Sekolah Tinggi Ekonomi Muhammadiyah Paciran Lamongan. Atas rekomendasi dari Kopertis VII di Surabaya dengan No surat : 0839/K7/KL/2015. Para pendiri Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan diketuai oleh Drs. Budi Utomo, M.Kes yang selanjutnya menjadi rektor pertama Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan, dengan tim pendiri lainya diantaranya H. Alifin, SKM, M.Kes, Dr. H. Masram, MM dan H. Bakri Priyono Dwi Atmaja, S.Kp., M.Kep.

Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan berdiri dengan 13 Program studi, diantaranya Program studi Sarjana Keperawatan, Profesi Ners, Diploma Kebidanan, Diploma tiga fisioterapi, diploma tiga farmasi, Administrasi Rumah Sakit, Farmasi, Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Manajemen, Akuntansi, Ekonomi Syariah, Biologi, Fisika dan Teknik Komputer

Dalam Perkembanganya Status akreditasi program studi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan, diantaranya Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan akreditasi B (SK Lamptkes No. 0602/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/XII/2020), Program Studi Profesi Ners Akreditasi B ( SK Lamptkes No. 0603/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/XII/2020), Program Studi Manajemen Akreditasi B, dengan SK BAN-PT No. 4595/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/VIII/2020, Program Studi Akuntansi akreditasi C dengan SK BAN-PT No. 6282/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PNB/S/X/2020, Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Teknik Komputer, Administrasi RS, Biologi, Farmasi, Fisika, Ekonomi Syariah (ijin baru dari Kemendikbud), Program Studi D-3 Fisioterpi Akreditasi C dengan SK LAMPTKES No. 0368/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Dip/Khs/V/2018, Program Studi D-3 Kebidanan akreditasi B dengan SK LAMPTKES No. 0555/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Dip/XII/2020, dan Program Studi D-3 Farmasi akreditasi C dengan SK LAMPTKES No. 0475/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Dip/VIII/2019.
