Segmen M adalah segmen Eropa untuk mobil penumpang yang digambarkan sebagai "kendaraan serba guna".[1][2][3] Ini mencakup kendaraan serba guna, minivan, dan van kargo.[4] Minivan (juga disebut MPV atau van penumpang) sering memiliki tempat duduk belakang yang dapat dilepas untuk memberikan fleksibilitas untuk mengangkut penumpang atau kargo, sedangkan van kargo (juga disebut kendaraan komersial ringan) terutama dirancang untuk mengangkut kargo dan oleh karena itu tidak memiliki kursi belakang.

Di masa lalu, segmen M meningkat volumenya dari tahun ke tahun di Eropa; pada tahun 2015, ini dikonsolidasikan sebagai segmen paling populer keempat (11,5% dari keseluruhan pasar setelah segmen C, segmen J dan segmen B).[5]
