Scott Bessent
Scott Bessent (lahir 21 Agustus 1962) adalah seorang pengusaha asal Amerika Serikat. Pada 2024, ia diangkat menjadi Menteri Keuangan Amerika Serikat oleh Presiden terpilih Amerika Serikat (AS) Donald Trump.

Bassent merupakan bekas anak buah George Soros, seorang konglomerat sekaligus investor AS. Bessent mulai bekerja untuk Soros pada tahun 1991 di Soros Fund Management. Sempat keluar tahun 2000, Bessent kembali lagi ke Soros tahun 2011 dan menjabat sebagai kepala investasi Soros. Pada tahun 2015, Bessent lalu memutuskan berhenti dan memulai jalannya sendiri di Key Square dengan investasi US$ 2 miliar.[1]
