Sayap pemuda adalah suatu organisasi yang berdiri secara otonom atau independen dari organisasi yang lebih besar (biasanya partai politik—tetapi kadang-kadang ada juga untuk organisasi lain) yang dibentuk untuk menggalang dukungan bagi organisasi tersebut dari anggota dan calon anggota yang berusia lebih muda, serta untuk fokus pada subjek dan isu-isu yang lebih relevan secara luas di kalangan pemuda organisasi itu. Sayap pemuda juga dapat menjadi forum diskusi bagi anggota muda dan pendukung organisasi untuk memperdebatkan kebijakan dan ideologi.
Istilah "sayap pemuda" paling sering digunakan untuk menyebut sayap pemuda partai politik. Pada organisasi sayap pemuda tersebut, anggota biasa atau pemimpinnya sering dipandang—setelah mencapai persyaratan usia minimum—sebagai calon pemimpin atau birokrat dari partai politik utama. Hal ini menyebabkan persepsi sayap pemuda partai politik hanya sebagai pintu gerbang kesempatan kerja di birokrasi pemerintah untuk anggota yang lebih muda, terutama di negara-negara bersistem dominan atau satu partai—di mana suatu partai dipastikan menang dalam pemilihan.
Sayap pemuda partai politik sebagian besar terdiri dari orang-orang dewasa.
