Sate kalong
Sate kalong adalah makanan khas Cirebon. Sate ini terbuat dari daging kerbau yang dihaluskan dengan cara ditumbuk.[1] Rasanya manis, hampir seperti dendeng. Disebut Sate Kalong karena, Penjual sate ini hanya keluar pada saat sore hari (seperti kalong yang keluar pada saat matahari hampir tenggelam) dan berjualan sepanjang malam.[2] Kekhasan penjualnya juga, mereka mengantungkan genta (klenengan) sapi pada pikulannya.[2] Sehingga bila mereka berjalan akan terdengar bunyi genta sapi itu.
