Sasis

Sasis atau rangka adalah kerangka internal yang menjadi dasar produksi sebuah objek, sebagai penyokong bagian-bagian seperti mesin atau alat elektronik objek tersebut. Sasis dapat dianalogikan dengan kerangka tulang pada binatang.

Pada kendaraan bermotor seperti mobil dan kendaraan niaga seperti bus, sasis terdiri dari kerangka bagian bawah mobil, roda, transmisi, sistem suspensi, dan mesin. Pada kendaraan tempur lapis baja, sasis dapat terdiri dari bagian bawah badan kendaraan,^[1] termasuk roda rantai, mesin, kursi sopir, dan tempat awak kendaraan.

Sasis pada peralatan elektronik seperti televisi dan radio adalah kerangka besi tempat terpasangnya papan sirkuit cetak dan komponen lainnya.^[2] Pada komputer, sasis merupakan kerangka keras tempat dipasangnya papan induk, umumnya dalam bentuk kasing komputer.
