SMA Don Bosco Semarang merupakan sebuah sekolah menengah atas swasta Katolik yang berada berlokasi di Jl. Sultan Agung no.133, Semarang. Sekolah ini didirikan tahun 1988, dan berada di bawah yayasan Pangudi Luhur.

Sejarah

Sejarah SMA Don Bosco berawal dari berdirinya SGA Don Bosco pada tahun 1955.[2]

Pada tanggal 4 Agustus 1958 Bruderan FIC Candi secara diresmikan dengan pelindung "St. Yosef". Selanjutnya, pada tanggal 23 Juni 1959, Mgr. Soegijapranata memberkati gedung SGA dan asrama Don Bosco. Pada saat peresmian gedung asrama, asrama Don Bosco dihuni oleh 180 anak dan 12 Yuvenis yang dipimpin oleh Br. Alcuino. Untuk memperlancar kegiatan SGA pada tahun 1961 dibangun SD latihan yang bertempat di samping SGA.

Perkembangan selanjutnya SGA Don Bosco berubah menjadi SPG Don Bosco. Oleh karena pemerintah Indonesia membubarkan SPG, maka SPG Don Bosko diubah menjadi SMU Don Bosco pada tahun 1988.

  • Juara I lomba speech contest tahun 2008 tingkat Semarang yang diadakan oleh WKRI.[5]
  • The Best Performance lomba dancer tahun 2007 tingkat Jateng - DIY yang diadakan di Semarang.[6]

  • Juara I Kelas Circle Tingkat Nasional tahun 2023
