Robert Jervis (30 April 1940 – 9 Desember 2021) adalah seorang ilmuwan politik asal Amerika Serikat yang merupakan Profesor Politik Internasional Adlai E. Stevenson di Departemen Ilmu Politik di Universitas Columbia,[1] dan merupakan anggota dari Institut Studi Perang dan Perdamaian Arnold A. Saltzman di Sekolah Hubungan Internasional dan Publik. Jervis adalah salah satu penyunting Cornell Studies in Security Affairs, sebuah rangkaian jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Cornell University Press.

Menurut Open Syllabus Project, Jervis adalah penulis keduabelas yang paling sering dikutip di silabus perguruan tinggi ilmu politik.[2] Menurut Jack Snyder, "tubuh pemikiran Jervis dapat dikategorikan dalam lima tema yang saling terkait: komunikasi dalam tawar-menawar strategis, persepsi dan salah persepsi dalam politik internasional, kerjasama dalam anarki, revolusi nuklir, dan efek sistem yang kompleks dan konsekuensi yang tidak diinginkan."[3]
