Qiscus adalah start up B2B SaaS penyedia teknologi In-App Real Time Communication (RTC). Qiscus didirikan di Singapura pada tahun 2013. Qiscus memiliki kantor pusat di Jakarta, serta pusat pengembangan riset dan teknologi di Yogyakarta. Hingga saat ini Qiscus telah melayani lebih dari 1000 klien dan sudah diadopsi di 18 negara dengan total penggunaan lebih dari 25 juta orang.[1]

Sejarah

Qiscus dibentuk oleh empat co-founders yang berdomisili di Yogyakarta dan Singapura, yaitu Amin Nordin, Delta Purna Widyangga, Muhammad Md Rahim, dan Evan Purnama. Qiscus memiliki kantor di Singapura, Jakarta, dan Yogyakarta.[2]

Qiscus dikembangkan sebagai fitur tambahan pada produk Phi Decks, sebuah platform sistem pembelajaran digital. Proyek Phi Decks dihentikan pada tahun 2013, tetapi fitur diskusi pada platform tersebut dianggap disukai oleh pengguna, sehingga dikembangkan sebagai aplikasi sendiri. Prototipe Qiscus sebagai internal messaging app untuk kebutuhan internal bisnis selesai pada tahun 2013. Versi komersial pertama diluncurkan pada akhir tahun 2014, dan akhirnya diluncurkan secara umum pada 21 April 2015. Pada tahun 2017, Qiscus kembali berubah bisnis model dan mengembangkan prototipe Multichannel Chat nya. Pada tahun 2018, Qiscus Multichannel Chat resmi dipasarkan.

Pada tahun 2020, Qiscus resmi menjadi partner WhatsApp sebagai Business Solution Provider WhatsApp Business API yang dapat di akses melalui Multichannel Chat Qiscus.[3][4]

Pada tahun 2021, Qiscus juga resmi menjadi partner Instagram yang memungkinkan Messenger API for Instagram[5] dapat diakses pada Multichannel Chat Qiscus sejak 2021. Pada tahun 2021, Qiscus juga bekerjasama dengan Asia Pay untuk menyederhanakan proses pembayaran pelanggan melalui chat dan call software development kit. Pada tahun 2021. Qiscus berhasil mendapatkan sertifikasi ISO 27001 terkait keamanan data sesuai standar British Standard International Group.

Konferensi Tahunan

September 2021, Qiscus meluncurkan konferensi tahunan pertamanya yang disebut Conversa, menghadirkan pembicara dari perusahaan ternama seperti Microsoft, Telkomsel, dan WhatsApp. Tak hanya itu, Conversa juga ajang product launching bagi Qiscus.[6]
