Qaryat al-Faw (bahasa Arab: قرية الفاو) adalah Ibu kota pertama Kerajaan Kindah, terletak 100 km dari Muhafazhah As Sulayyil, lebih tepatnya daerah yang terdapat persimpangan antara Wadi ad-Dawasir dengan Pegunungan Tuwaiq di kanal yang bernama Al-Faw, desa ini menggunakan nama tersebut agar membedakan dengan desa-desa lainnya yang berada di sekitar desa ini, Al-Faw terletak di ujung barat laut gurun pasir Rub' al Khali di Arab Saudi, 300 km dari kota Najran, pada zaman dahulu tempat ini disebut Dzatu Kahl, dinisbahkan dengan patung yang disembah masyarakat Arab kala itu Kahl. Kerajaan Kindah menjadikan al-Faw sebagai ibu kota kerajaan mereka sejak Abad ke-4 SM sampai Abad ke-4 M, sampai mereka menjadikan Najd sebagai pusat pemerintahan mereka.[1]
