PT Prudential Life Assurance (dikenal juga sebagai Prudential Indonesia) adalah perusahaan jasa keuangan di bidang asuransi yang berkantor pusat di Jakarta. Perusahaan ini berinduk ke Prudential plc yang berpusat di London, United Kingdom. Prudential, merupakan bagian dari group yang memiliki pengalaman, lebih dari 168 tahun di dunia Asuransi Jiwa.[1]

Perusahaan ini memiliki izin usaha di bidang asuransi jiwa patungan, berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Keuangan Indonesia Nomor: 241/KMK.017/1995 tanggal 1 Juni 1995 juncto Surat Menteri Keuangan Nomor: S.191/MK.6/2001 tanggal 6 Maret 2001 juncto Surat Menteri Keuangan Nomor S.614/MK.6/2001 tanggal 23 Oktober 2001 juncto Surat Menteri Keuangan Nomor S-9077/BL/2008 tanggal 19 Desember 2008. [1]

Prudential Indonesia juga memiliki izin usaha Unit Syariah berdasarkan surat Menteri Keuangan Nomor KEP 167/KM.10/2007 yang dikeluarkan pada tanggal 20 Agustus 2007.[1]

Prudential Indonesia untuk pertama kali didirikan dengan nama PT Prudential Banc Bali Life Assurance pada tahun 1995 dan berpatungan dengan Bank Bali.[1]

Produk asuransi Prudential Indonesia adalah asuransi jiwa[2], asuransi kesehatan[3], asuransi penyakit kritis[4] dan Produk Asuransi Yang dikaitkan Investasi (PAYDI)[5].
