Pisau frais (dalam bahasa Inggris disebut cutter milling) adalah perkakas pemotong yang biasanya digunakan pada mesin pemotong untuk melakukan pekerjaan pemotongan (dan kadang-kadang pada perkakas mesin lain). Pisau ini melakukan pemotongan ketika bergerak di dalam mesin (misalnya pisau frais hidung bulat) atau langsung dari bentuk pisaunya (contohnya pisau hobbing).
Hampir selalu ada satu gigi per galur, tetapi beberapa pisau frais memiliki dua atau lebih gigi per galur,[1] semakin banyak gigi maka semakin cepat pula menyelesaikan pekerjaan pemotongan. Kata galur dan gigi acapkali digunakan secara bergantian.
