Phil Hogan (lahir 4 Juli 1960) adalah seorang politisi Irlandia dari partai konservatif-liberal Fine Gael yang menjabat sebagai Komisaris Uni Eropa untuk Pertanian dan Pembangunan Pedesaan sejak November 2014. Dia sebelumnya menjabat sebagai Menteri Perumahan, Perencanaan dan Pemerintah Daerah Irlandia dari 2011 hingga 2014 dan Menteri Keuangan Irlandia dari 1994 hingga 1995. Ia anggota parlemen Teachta Dála (TD) Irlandia sebagai konstituen dari daerah pemilihan Carlow-Kilkenny, Irlandia dari tahun 1989 hingga 2014.^[1]

Kehidupan awal

Hogan lahir di Kilkenny pada tahun 1960, dibesarkan di sebuah daerah pertanian di tenggara Irlandia, ia dididik secara lokal di St. Joseph's College, Freshford, dan di St Kieran's College, Kilkenny. Setelah itu, ia masuk University College Cork dan lulus dengan gelar di bidang Ekonomi dan Geografi.
