    Pertempuran Dunkirk adalah pertahanan dan evakuasi Inggris dan tentara Sekutu yang telah terpisah dari pertahanan Prancis utama oleh serangan Jerman.

    Setelah tujuh bulan Perang Phoney, pertempuran Prancis dimulai pada 10 Mei 1940. Jerman menyerang dan menguasai Belanda, dan lalu menyerbu Belgia.

    Pertempuran ini berakhir dengan evakuasi Dunkirk.
