Permaisuri Bo

Permaisuri Bo (Hanzi: 薄皇后; Pinyin: Bò Huánghòu) (nama pribadinya tidak diketahui) (†147 SM) merupakan seorang permaisuri pada masa Dinasti Han. Dia adalah istri pertama Kaisar Jing, dan juga permaisuri pertama yang digulingkan dalam sejarah kekaisaran Tiongkok.

Permaisuri Bo berasal dari keluarga Janda Permaisuri Bo, yang mungkin adalah kakek dari pihak ayah dan menikahkannya dengan cucunya, kemudian Putra Mahkota Qi pada masa pemerintahan putranya, Kaisar Wen. Dia membawa gelar putri mahkota selama pemerintahan ayah mertuanya. Kemudian, ketika suaminya menjadi kaisar pada tahun 157 SM, dia diciptakan sebagai permaisuri, tetapi dia tidak disukai oleh suaminya, dan dia tidak memiliki putra. Sebagai akibatnya, putra Selir Kekaisaran Li, Liu Rong dijadikan putra mahkota.

Setelah Janda Permaisuri Agung Bo meninggal pada tahun 155 SM, Permaisuri Bo kehilangan sumber dukungan dalam istana. Pada tahun 151 SM, suaminya memecatnya; dia meninggal empat tahun kemudian.[1] Dia dimakamkan di Pavilion Pingwang, di Chang'an bagian timur. Meskipun kisah Permaisuri Bo adalah salah satu kehidupan istimewa dan didikan, ini juga mengingatkan tentang kerentanan wanita. Dia adalah pengingat yang menyedihkan bahwa meskipun dia memiliki hubungan dengan seseorang yang berkuasa dan berpengaruh seperti Janda Permaisuri Bo, dia tidak pernah menikmati kehidupan yang sangat berharga hanya karena dia tidak dapat melahirkan seorang putra.[2]
