Penaklukan Gojoseon oleh Han adalah kampanye militer yang dilancarkan oleh Kaisar Wu dari Dinasti Han terhadap Wiman Joseon di Korea dari tahun 109 hingga 108 SM. Kampanye militer ini berujung pada kekalahan Gojoseon dan pendirian empat wilayah "jun" di Semenanjung Korea.

Latar belakang

Semenjak Wi Man naik tahta Gojoseon, hubungan antara Dinasti Han dengan Gojoseon memburuk.[1]

Raja Ugeo dari Gojoseon mengganggu hubungan langsung antara utusan yang dipilih oleh suku-suku di Semenanjung Korea dengan Dinasti Han, sehingga Kaisar Wu dari Han mengirim seorang utusan yang bernama She He (涉何) ke Gojoseon.[2] Setelah berbincang dengan raja, She He gagal membuka jalan bagi para utusan ini.[2] Saat akan kembali ke negaranya, She He membunuh Wi Jang (長降), salah satu asisten Raja Gojoseon.[2] Akibatnya, sang raja mengirim pasukan untuk membunuh She He.[2] Dinasti Han lalu memperoleh dalih untuk menyerang Gojoseon setelah Raja Ugeo menghukum mati She He.[3]
