Pelabuhan Kuala Belait (Bahasa Melayu: Pelabuhan Kuala Belait), juga dikenal sebagai Dermaga Kuala Belait,[1] adalah pelabuhan yang dioperasikan oleh Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) dan Otoritas Maritim dan Pelabuhan Brunei Darussalam (MPABD).[2] Pelabuhan ini hanya dapat menampung kapal-kapal dengan sarat air rendah.[3] Ini adalah salah satu dari tiga pelabuhan yang ada di negara ini.[4][5]

Geografi

Pelabuhan ini terletak di tepi timur Sungai Belait,[6] di seberang Sungai Teraban dan tidak jauh dari ibu kota distrik tersebut, Kuala Belait.[7] Kedalamannya dangkal, yaitu 8 kaki (2,4 m).[6] Pelabuhan Kuala Belait juga merupakan salah satu fasilitas laut terdekat dari Sarawak, Malaysia.[8] Hanya Pelabuhan Muara dan Pelabuhan Kuala Belait yang menyediakan pengiriman ke Hong Kong, Singapura, dan wilayah lain di Asia.[9] Lokasi ini memungkinkan kapal memiliki akses penuh ke Laut Tiongkok Selatan.[10]

Sejarah

Angkatan Laut Kerajaan Brunei mengadakan Pameran Kapal & Karir Terbuka di pelabuhan tersebut pada tanggal 15 Desember 2007. Pada tanggal 30 September 2021, gedung MPABD di dermaga pemerintah dinyalakan dengan warna biru bertepatan dengan Hari Maritim Sedunia.[11]

  • Dermaga sepanjang 90 kaki (27 m)[6]
  • Lima buah derek jangkung 25 t (25 ton panjang; 28 ton pendek)[6]
  • Sebuah derek dengan berat 22 t (22 ton panjang; 24 ton pendek)[6]

Dermaga pemerintah

  • Dermaga sepanjang 328 kaki (100 m)[6]
  • Sebuah derek 5 t (4,9 ton panjang; 5,5 ton pendek)[6]
