Pax Mongolica (dikenal juga sebagai Pax Tatarica)[1] atau "Kedamaian Mongol" adalah frasa yang dibuat oleh ahli-ahli Barat untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penaklukan Kekaisaran Mongol terhadap kehidupan sosial, budaya dan ekonomi wilayah Eurasia yang ditaklukan Mongol pada abad ke-13 dan ke-14. Istilah ini digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kemudahan komunikasi dan perdagangan dari pemerintahan yang bersatu, dan periode perdamaian setelah penaklukan Mongol. Periode ini tetap bertahan selama masa 4 pembagian wilayah Mongol yaitu Ilkhanate, Chagatai Khanate , Gerombolan Emas, dan Dinasti Yuan di Tiongkok.

Penaklukan Genghis Khan (1206–1227) dan penerusnya, mulai dari Asia Tenggara hingga Eropa Timur, secara efektif menghubungkan Dunia Timur dengan Dunia Barat. Jalur Sutra, yang menghubungkan pusat perdagangan di Asia dan Eropa, berada di bawah kekuasaan tunggal Kekaisaran Mongol. Umumnya dikatakan bahwa "seorang gadis yang membawa bongkahan emas di kepalanya dapat berkelana dengan aman ke seluruh penjuru dunia".[2][3] Meskipun fragmentasi politik Kekaisaran Mongol menjadi empat khanat (Dinasti Yuan, Golden Horde, Chagatai Khanate dan Ilkhanate), hampir satu abad penaklukan dan perang saudara diikuti oleh stabilitas yang relatif pada awal abad ke-14. Berakhirnya Pax Mongolica ditandai dengan disintegrasi khanat dan pecahnya wabah Black Death di Asia yang menyebar di sepanjang jalur perdagangan ke sebagian besar dunia pada pertengahan abad ke-14.

Selama masa ini, unsur-unsur Mongol termasuk aksara ʼPhags-pa membuat banyak muncul dalam seni Barat.
