Pantai Kijing

Pantai Kijing terletak di Desa Sungai Kunyit Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Pontianak provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Pantai ini memiliki benyak keindahan salah satunya pesisir pantai yang penuh pohon kelapa serta pasir putihnya yang landai. Selain itu, pantai ini juga dihiasi bukit serta pepohonan yang sejuk. Ada bukit yang menghadap ke pantai, pepohonan kelapa yang berjajar rapi dan tersedianya lapangan gastrek menjadikan pantai ini sebagai objek wisata primadona di kabupaten Pontianak.[1]

Panorama

Di sepanjang pantai wisata Pantai Kijing, mulai dari arah Selatan hingga ke Utara yang terlihat hanya hamparan pasir putih dan rindangnya pohon kelapa sebagai tempat berteduh. Suasana pantai memang tak bisa dimungkiri memberikan keindahan tersendiri. Disaat sore hari, kita bisa menikmati indahnya matahari terbenam di ufuk barat. Jalan menuju pantai sebagian besar berpanorama sawah milik penduduk setempat.[2] Jalan raya sendiri diapit oleh pantai. Pantai di sebelah kanan merupakan lokasi track balapan motor dan penuh oleh deretan pohon kelapa. Pantai di sebelah kiri menghadap bukit dimana tersedia kantin tempat makan minum pengunjung.[3]

Akses

Akses menuju pantai ini sangat mudah untuk dijangkau. Kita bisa menggunakan kendaraan roda empat maupun roda dua.[4] Diperlukan waktu tempuh sekitar 3 jam atau berjarak sekitar 70 Km dari kota Pontianak menuju ke Pantai Kijing ini. Selain itu bisa juga diakses dari arah Kota Singakwang berjarak sekitar 15 Km dari Mempawah arah ke kota Singkawang. Pantai pun sudah dapat dilihat dari jalan raya[3][5]

Fasilitas

Fasilitas yang tersedia di pantai ini cukup lengkap. Terdapat kantin, panggung pertunjukan, tempat ibadah seperti mushola dan vihara, serta taman. Kedepanya, pantai ini di rencanakan sebagai lokasi pembangunan dermaga pelabuhan internasional Pontianak.[6][3][7]
