Pada anatomi, orbit adalah rongga atau lubang di tengkorak, yang mengandung mata dan anggota-anggota geraknya. Istilah ini dapat digunakan untuk merujuk rongga tersebut,[1] atau juga merujuk kepada isi dari rongga tersebut.[2] Pada manusia dewasa, volume orbut adalah sekitar 30 mililiter (1,06 imp fl oz; 1,01 US fl oz), dengan mata yang mencakup volume sebesar 6,5 ml (0,23 imp fl oz; 0,22 US fl oz).[3] Orbit mencakup mata, fasia orbital dan retrobulbar, otot ektraokular, Saraf kranial II, III, IV, V dan VI, lemak, pembuluh darah, kelenjar air mata (lengkap dengan kantong dan salurannya), kelopak mata, ligamen palpebral lateral dan medial, ligamen suspensori, septum, ganglion siliari, dan saraf siliari pendek.
