Nepenthes spectabilis
Nepenthes spectabilis adalah salah satu spesies kantong semar endemik Sumatra dengan status konservasi rentan (Vulnerable) menurut Daftar Merah IUCN.[1] Berdasarkan catatan, tumbuhan karnovira ini dapat ditemukan di sekitar Aceh hingga Danau Toba. Hasil penelitian terbaru yang menemukan kembali N. spectabilis di Jalan Merek-Sidikalang, Dairi, Sumatra Utara menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan ini masih bisa ditemui di alam liar meskipun kelestariannya terancam akibat berbagai faktor[2]
