Nepenthes kitanglad adalah spesies kantong semar yang berasal dari Filipina. Spesies ini diketahui hanya terdapat di Gunung Kitanglad, Provinsi Bukidnon, Mindanao, di mana telah dicatat sebagai epifit di hutan berlumut pada ketinggian 1.800-2.100 m di atas permukaan laut.[1] Spesies ini termasuk ke dalam "kelompok N. alata", yang meliputi N. alata, N. ceciliae, N. copelandii, N. extincta, N. graciliflora, N. hamiguitanensis, N. kurata, N. leyte, N. mindanaoensis, N. negros, N. ramos, N. saranganiensis, dan N. ultra.[1][2][3][4] Spesies ini disatukan oleh sejumlah karakter morfologi, yaitu tangkai bersayap, tutup dengan rabung pangkal pada permukaan bawah (sering dijabarkan sebagai alat pelengkap), dan kantong atas yang biasanya luas dekat dasarnya.[1][2]

Nepenthes kitanglad dideskripsikan dalam sebuah karya volume kedua tahun 2009 oleh Stewart McPherson, Pitcher Plants of the Old World,[5] di mana spesies ini sementara diidentifikasi sebagai N. saranganiensis.[1] Penunjuk jenis kitanglad mengacu kepada Gunung Kitanglad, lokalitas yang hanya diketahui dari spesies ini.[1]
