NeonPunch (Hangul: 네온펀치) adalah grup vokal wanita Korea Selatan yang dibentuk oleh A100 Entertainment. Grup ini terdiri dari lima anggota, termasuk Dayeon, Terry, Baekah, May, dan Iaan.

Riwayat

Pra-debut

Pada 7 Februari 2017, A100 Entertainment mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan membentuk grup vokal wanita pertamanya melalui saluran YouTube dan mulai mengunggah foto sampul. Sebelumnya, mereka telah memiliki beberapa jumlah anggota, tetapi identitasnya masih dirahasiakan saat itu. Susunan mereka selalu berubah hingga akhirnya hanya tersisa lima anggota. Pada 2 Oktober, A100 mengumumkan bahwa grup vokal wanita mereka akan diberi nama "NeonPunch" dan memperkenalkan para anggota melalui video cuplikan tentang acara realitas pra-debut mereka.[1] NeonPunch juga sempat mengikuti audisi untuk acara realitas JTBC Mix Nine[2] tetapi hanya Baekah yang lolos ke tahap audisi hingga masuk ke acara tersebut.[3]

Pada 13 April 2018, A100 mengumumkan bahwa NeonPunch akan menjadi model baru untuk produk kecantikan DPC. Para anggota yang ditambah pendatang baru May dan Terry sepakat akan melakukan debut mereka pada akhir bulan Mei.[4] Pada 8 Mei, A100 memberitahukan bahwa debutnya ditunda hingga Juni dan kelima anggota termasuk, Baekah, Dayeon, Iaan, May serta Terry merupakan anggota terakhir yang dikonfirmasi masuk NeonPunch.[5] NeonPunch pergi ke Tiongkok dan melakukan beberapa pertunjukan. Mereka juga tampil di beberapa acara di Korea.

2018: Debut dengan MoonLight

Pada 27 Juni 2018, NeonPunch merilis album singel pertama mereka berjudul 'MoonLight' dan singel utama dengan nama yang sama.[6][7] Pada tanggal 30 Juni, mereka mengumumkan debut resminya dalam program musik Show! Music Core di jaringan stasiun MBC.[8]
