Namik Paul (sebelumnya sebagai Naamik) adalah seorang aktor televisi dan mantan model India.[1] Dia dikenal karena bermain Shravan Malhotra di Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Shiv di Ek Deewana Tha dan Angad Jindal di Kavach... MahaShivratri.[2][3]

Kehidupan awal dan latar belakang

Namik berasal dari Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Ayahnya adalah seorang pensiunan IAS petugas dan ibunya adalah pengacara dan hak asasi manusia aktivis. Dia memiliki satu kakak perempuan yang bekerja sebagai Pengacara Pengadilan Tinggi di Chandigarh. Paulus melakukan sekolahnya di Dehradun dan selesai di Woodstock School, Mussoorie (boarding school). Untuk pendidikannya yang lebih tinggi, dia pergi ke Lewis & Clark College di Portland, Oregon, United States dan mengambil ekonomi dan matematika sebagai mata pelajaran utamanya.[4]

Karier

Paul memulai kariernya sebagai jurnalis dengan NDTV 24x7 dan kemudian berakting.[1]

Dia membuat debut televisinya pada 2015 sebagai Ahsaan di Zee TV acara Qubool Hai. Pada 2016, ia bermain Shravan Malhotra di Sony TV acara Ek Duje Ke Vaaste berlawanan Nikita Dutta di mana mereka memenangkan Lions Gold Award untuk Best Jodi Critics Choice.[5][6] Selanjutnya, ia memainkan Adil Malik di The Trip di Bindass.[7]

Pada 2017, Paul menjadi pembawa acara Aye Zindagi. Dia memainkan Shiv Kapoor / Krish Khanna di Sony TV acara Ek Deewaana Tha berlawanan Donal Bisht.[8][9]

Pada 2019, Paul terlihat bermain Angad Jindal di Colors TV acara horor Kavach... Maha Shivratri berlawanan Deepika Singh.[10]

Pada 2020, Ia bergabung dalam Star Plus acara Kasautii Zindagii Kay sebagai Viraj Bhardwaj.[11]
