Musée de la Franc-maçonnerie

Musée de la Franc-maçonnerie (Museum Freemasonry Prancis) adalah sebuah museum Freemasonry yang terletak di arondisemen ke-9 di 16, rue Cadet, Paris, Prancis. Buka setiap hari kecuali hari Minggu dan Senin; dikenakan biaya masuk. Stasiun metro terdekat adalah Cadet. Museum ini didirikan pada tahun 1889 oleh Grand Orient de France sebagai lemari keingintahuan di Hotel Cadet[1]. Museum ini dijarah selama pendudukan Jerman di Perancis selama Perang Dunia II, tetapi dibuka kembali pada tahun 1973 dan menjadi museum resmi Perancis pada tahun 2000. Pada tahun yang sama, banyak dokumen sejarah dikembalikan dari Moskow, tempat dokumen tersebut disimpan oleh KGB setelah kekalahan Jerman dalam Perang Dunia II. Museum ini dibuka kembali untuk umum pada 11 Februari 2010 setelah renovasi besar-besaran. Ini mendapat dukungan dari Kementerian Kebudayaan, wilayah Île-de-France dan Balai Kota Paris.[2]

Saat ini museum menyajikan sejarah Freemasonry Perancis melalui simbol, pangkat, dokumen dan benda. Ini berisi sekitar 10.000 item yang dipamerkan di ruang pameran permanen (800 m²), sekitar 23.000 volume di arsip (400 m²) dan 400 m² lainnya didedikasikan untuk pameran sementara.
