Mustahab

Mustahab adalah sesuatu yang telah dikerjakan oleh Nabi Muhammad satu atau dua kali, seperti halnya shalat dhuha atau melakukan pengobatan dengan menggunaan media bekam, mustahab pada hakikatnya adalah perbuatan yang apabila dikerjakan mendapat pahala, dan apabila tidak dikerjakaan tidak mendapat dosa ataupun siksa.[1] Mustahab dapat dikatakan sebagai tindakan Rasulullah yang kadang-kadang dilakukan dan disukai oleh para pendahulu yang soleh, dimana apabila tindakan ini di laksanakan akan mendapatkan pahala yang luar biasa, tetapi apabila di abaikan seseorang tidak akan berdosa.[2]

Contoh amalan mustahab salah satu contohnya adalah puasa-puasa sunnah, diantaranya:[3]

  1. Puasa yang dilaksanakan 9 hari pertama pada bulan Zulhijah.
  2. Puasa pada bulan Muharam, lebih ditekankan pada hari ke 9 atau 10.
  3. Puasa 6 hari pada bulan Syawal setelah bulan Ramadan, seperti menggenapkan puasa selama setahun penuh.
  4. Puasa hari Senin dan Kamis.
  5. Puasa 3 hari pada setiap bulan. Dicatat pahalanya seperti berpuasa dalam sebulan penuh.
