Musala (takbaku: mushola, mushala), langgar, surau, atau bandarsah (Arab: مصلى, translit: muṣallácode: ar is deprecated ) adalah ruang selain masjid, terutama digunakan untuk ibadah salat di Islam.[1] Kata tersebut berasal dari kata kerja صلى (ṣallā), yang artinya "berdoa". Ini secara tradisional digunakan untuk salat Id dan salat Jenazah sesuai anjuran Sunnah. Secara etimologi, kata Musala memiliki arti ruang terbuka. Dalam budaya Melayu, Musala diartikan sebagai Surau.
Musala juga bisa merujuk ke ruangan, struktur, atau tempat untuk melakukan salat dan biasanya diterjemahkan sebagai "ruang salat" yang lebih kecil dari masjid. Biasanya digunakan untuk melaksanakan salat lima waktu atau salat lainnya yang jumlah jemaahnya sedikit, namun tidak untuk salat berjamaah seperti salat Jumat atau salat Id (yang terakhir bisa dilakukan di masjid Jami jika tidak ada musala, dalam arti aslinya adalah ruang terbuka). Musala biasanya mudah ditemukan di bandar udara, mal, universitas, dan tempat umum lainnya di negara-negara mayoritas Muslim, serta beberapa negara non-Muslim, bagi umat Islam musala dapat digunakan untuk melakukan salat lima waktu. Biasanya musala tidak memiliki mimbar.
