Mukim Gadong 'A' adalah sebuah mukim di Daerah Brunei-Muara, Brunei Darussalam. Jumlah penduduknya adalah 34.049 jiwa pada tahun 2016.[1] Mukim ini didirikan pada tanggal 21 November 2005 dengan pemekaran Mukim Gadong menjadi mukim ini dan Mukim Gadong 'B'.[2]

Geografi

Mukim ini berbatasan dengan Laut Cina Selatan di sebelah utara, Mukim Berakas 'A' di sebelah timur, Mukim Gadong 'B' di sebelah selatan, dan Mukim Sengkurong di sebelah barat.

Sebagian garis pantai Mukim Gadong 'A' telah direklamasi ke arah laut dengan berbagai bentuk dan ukuran, terutama di dekat lingkungan Pantai Tungku. Ada juga beberapa pulau kecil buatan yang terbuat dari batu dan pasir dengan beberapa pohon yang ditanam di atasnya.[3]

Demografi

Menurut sensus tahun 2016, jumlah penduduk Mukim Gadong 'A' adalah 16.859 laki-laki dan 17.190 perempuan. Mukim ini memiliki 5.395 kepala keluarga yang menempati 5.338 rumah. Seluruh penduduk tinggal di daerah perkotaan.[1] Mukim Gadong 'A' meliputi desa-desa berikut:
