Muhammad Arifin Al-Arsyadi

Syekh Muhammad Arifin Al-Arsyadi Batuhampar (w. 1938) adalah salah seorang ulama Minangkabau. Ia adalah anak dari Syekh Arsyad Batuhampar (w. 1924),[1] dan cucu dari Syekh Abdurrahman Batuhampar (w. 1899),[2] seorang ulama terkenal pendiri surau di Batu Hampar, Lima Puluh Kota, Sumatera Barat. Syekh Arifin berhubungan saudara dengan Bung Hatta, yang juga adalah cucu dari Syekh Abdurrahman Batuhampar.[3] Syekh Arifin bersama ulama-ulama lainnya seperti Syekh Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli, Syekh Abdul Wahid Tabek Gadang, dan Syekh Muhammad Jamil Jaho, adalah para penggerak pendidikan di kalangan Kaum Tua di Minangkabau.[4]
