Pada tanggal 15 Januari 2019, mosi tidak percaya terhadap pemerintahan Theresa May diajukan di Dewan Rakyat Britania Raya. Sehari sesudahnya, dewan ini menolaknya dengan perolehan suara 325 banding 306.
Mosi ini diajukan oleh Jeremy Corbyn (ketua Partai Buruh dan pemimpin oposisi) setelah Theresa May gagal meloloskan perjanjian Brexit dengan Uni Eropa pada hari yang sama, dengan jumlah yang menolak 432 anggota parlemen dibanding dengan 202 yang setuju.
Parlemen memperdebatkan mosi ini pada siang hari tanggal 16 Januari, sementara pemungutan suara digelar pada malam harinya. Semua anggota oposisi mendukungnya, tetapi anggota parlemen dari Partai Konservatif dan Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) menolaknya. Setelah hasilnya keluar, Theresa May mengundang setiap pemimpin partai di parlemen untuk bertemu dengannya dan membahas masa depan Brexit. Undangan ini diterima oleh semuanya, tetapi Corbyn menolaknya dan menegaskan bahwa ia tidak akan bertemu dengan May kecuali jika May dapat memastikan bahwa Britania Raya tidak akan keluar dari Uni Eropa tanpa kesepakatan sama sekali.
Mosi ini digagalkan dengan perolehan suara 325 banding 306. Sepuluh anggota parlemen dari DUP dan anggota parlemen independen Sylvia Hermon memberikan dukungan mereka kepada pemerintah. Partai-partai lain di Dewan Rakyat mendukung mosi ini, dan begitu pula dengan beberapa anggota parlemen independen seperti Jared O'Mara dan Stephen Lloyd. Tiga anggota parlemen independen memilih untuk abstain (semuanya mantan anggota Partai Buruh), sementara Paul Flynn dari Partai Buruh dihitung abstain karena ia sedang sakit dan tidak bisa hadir.[1][2]
