Paris

Van Gogh berpindah dari Belanda menuju Paris pada 1886 atas saran dari saudara laki-lakinya, Theo van Gogh yang merupakan diler seni. Ia mendapatkan ragam pengaruh dari seniman terkenal di Belanda pada masa tersebut dan kerabatnya, Anton Mauve, seorang pelukis realis dan anggota penting di Sekolah Hague.[1]

Gaya artistik
