Masjid Jami' Adji Amir Hasanoeddin (EYD: Masjid Jami' Aji Amir Hasanuddin) adalah sebuah masjid bersejarah yang hingga kini masih berdiri kokoh di Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur.[1]

Sejarah

Masjid ini di bangun pada tahun 1874 Oleh Raja Sultan Sulaiman. Masjid Jami' Hasanuddin masuk wilayah Kesultanan Kutai Kartanegara.[2] Awalnya masjid ini berupa musholla kecil dan dibangun menjadi masjid berukuran besar pada tahun 1930 pada saat Kerajaan Kutai diperintah oleh Sultan Adji Mohammad Parikesit (1920-1959).

Pembangunan Masjid Jami' Adji Amir Hasanuddin tahap pertama dilaksanakan pada saat Kerajaan di perintah oleh Sultan Sulaiman.[3] dan tahap kedua dilaksanakan oleh cucunya yaitu Sultan Adji Muhammad Parikesit dan diprakarsai oleh seorang Menteri Kerajaan yang bernama Adji Amir Hasanoeddin dengan gelar Haji Adji Pangeran Sosronegoro. Nama menteri inilah yang kemudian di abadikan menjadi nama Masjid ini.

Koleksi yang terdapat dalam mesjid ini adalah Menara Masjid, Tiang Guru, Mimbar masjid, dan Sudut Mihrab masjid. Bangunan mesjid dirancang permanen bercorak rumah Adat Kalimantan Timur. Atapnya tumpang tiga dengan puncaknya berupa bentuk limas segi lima.Pada setiap tingkatan ditandai ventilasi yang jumlahnya bervariasi,bergantung pada besar kecilnya bangunan.

Masjid ini memiliki peran besar bagi masyarakat Tenggarong dan sekitarnya karena mengandung nilai historis yang tidak bisa dilupakan begitu saja oleh umat islam, masjid ini sudah ditetapkan sebagai salah satu masjid yang bersejarah di Indonesia.[4]

Di masjid ini terdapat 16 tiang kayu ulin yang Besar yang mana kayu ini awalnya akan digunakan untuk adat Ritual Kutai yaitu Menduduskan yaitu pemandian putra Mahkota Yaitu Adji Punggeuk tetapi malah calon raja tersebut meninggal dunia.

Akhirnya 16 tiang itu digunakan untuk proses pembuatan Masjid ini. Ketika subuh peletakan batu pertama, rakyat langsung bergotong-royong dan membuat Masjid ini tanpa upah, hanya bermodalkan Iman dan keikhlasan kepada Allah SWT. Dan perlu di ingat sebelum Masjid ini di Rehab tidak ada ada satu paku pun yang digunakan untuk Membangun Masjid ini melainkan dengan Kayu itu sendiri.
