Macksburg, Iowa

Macksburg adalah sebuah kota di Madison County, Iowa, Amerika Serikat. Populasi adalah 97 pada saat sensus 2020 .^[1] Ini adalah bagian dari Wilayah Statistik Metropolitan Des Moines – West Des Moines.

Geografi

Macksburg berlokasi di41°12′51″N 94°11′8″W / 41.21417°N 94.18556°W / 41.21417; -94.18556 (41.214250, -94.185618).^[2] Menurut Biro Sensus Amerika Serikat, kota ini memiliki luas total 199 mil persegi (515,41 km²) semuanya daratan.^[3]

Sejarah

Macksburg ditata dan dilapisi pada tahun 1873. Itu dinamai Dr Joseph Hughes Mack, salah satu pemilik asli dari situs kota.^[4]

Demografi

Pada sensus 2010 ada 113 orang di 53 rumah tangga, termasuk 33 keluarga, di kota. Kepadatan penduduk adalah 568 jiwa per mil persegi (219,3/km²) . Ada 66 unit rumah dengan kepadatan rata-rata 33,4 per mil persegi (12,9/km ² ). Komposisi rasial kota ini adalah 97,18% Kulit Putih, 1,41% Asia, dan 1,41% dari dua atau lebih ras.^[6]

Dari 62 rumah tangga, 29,0% memiliki anak di bawah usia 18 tahun yang tinggal bersama mereka, 58,1% adalah pasangan menikah yang tinggal bersama, 4,8% memiliki kepala rumah tangga perempuan tanpa suami, dan 33,9% bukan keluarga. 32,3% rumah tangga adalah satu orang dan 14,5% adalah satu orang berusia 65 tahun atau lebih. Ukuran rumah tangga rata-rata adalah 2,29 dan ukuran keluarga rata-rata adalah 2,76.

Distribusi usia adalah 26,8% di bawah usia 18, 6,3% dari 18 hingga 24, 20,4% dari 25 hingga 44, 28,2% dari 45 hingga 64, dan 18,3% 65 atau lebih tua. Usia rata-rata adalah 38 tahun. Untuk setiap 100 perempuan, ada 89,3 laki-laki. Untuk setiap 100 perempuan berusia 18 tahun ke atas, ada 96,2 laki-laki.

Pendapatan rumah tangga rata-rata adalah $31.500 dan pendapatan keluarga rata-rata adalah $36.964. Laki-laki memiliki pendapatan rata-rata $29.688 versus $20.357 untuk perempuan.
