Lur adalah sebuah terompet klasik tanpa lubang jari yang dimainkan dengan gerakan bibir. Lur dapat berbentuk lurus maupun lengkung dalam berbagai variasi.
Nama "lur" diberikan kepada dua tipe alat musik tiup kuno yang berbeda. Jenis yang paling baru terbuat dari kayu dan digunakan di Skandinavia selama Abad Pertengahan. Jenis yang lebih tua, dinamakan sama seperti model yang lebih modern, dibuat dari perunggu pada Zaman Perunggu dan sering kali ditemukan berpasangan, terpendam di tanah lumpur, terutama Denmark dan Jerman. Terdiri dari sebuah mouthpiece dan beberapa lempeng dan/atau pipa logam atau kayu. Panjangnya dapat mencapai 1,5 meter hingga 2 meter.
