Lompat lambai

Lompat lambai adalah latihan lompat fisik yang dilakukan dengan melompat ke posisi dengan kaki terbuka lebar dan tangan mengarah ke atas, terkadang dengan tepukan, dan lalu kembali ke posisi dengan kaki rapat dan lengan di samping.

Variasi dan kemajuan

Latihannya bisa dibuat lebih atau kurang intens dengan variasi yang berbeda-beda. Secara umum, jongkok yang lebih dalam akan membuat lompatan menjadi lebih sulit, meskipun tidak menghasilkan ketinggian yang lebih besar dibandingkan jongkok pada <90. Menurut penelitian, ketinggian yang lebih tinggi dicapai ketika melakukan lompatan dari posisi jongkok yang lebih dangkal (lompatan bintang sering kali dilakukan dari posisi seperempat jongkok), sedangkan jongkok yang lebih dalam lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan ketinggian lompatan vertikal.

Lompat lambai terbanyak yang dilakukan dalam satu menit adalah 136 - diraih oleh Binod Thapa di Kathmandu, Nepal, pada 28 Juli 2023. ^[1]

Pada tahun 2010, National Geographic Kids mengadakan acara di 1.050 lokasi sebagai bagian dari kampanye latihan " Let's Move! " Michelle Obama di mana 300.365 orang diukur melakukan lompat lambai (selama satu menit) dalam jangka waktu 24 jam. ^[2]
