Limun (bahasa Inggris: Lemonade) adalah nama untuk sejumlah minuman manis yang ditemukan di seluruh dunia, yang kebanyakan mengandung rasa lemon.

Sebagian besar varietas limun dapat dibagi dalam dua jenis yang berbeda: bening dan keruh, setiap minuman tersebut secara singkat disebut sebagai "lemonade" di negara-negara dimana minuman tersebut menjadi dominan.[1] Limun bening, umumnya ditemukan di Amerika Utara dan India, biasanya merupakan sebuah minuman buatan rumah yang terbuat dari jus lemon, air, dan dimaniskan dengan gula tebu atau madu.[2] Ditemukan di Britania Raya, Irlandia, Australia, dan Selandia Baru, limun bening adalah sebuah minuman ringan berkarbonasi yang terbuat dari lemon, atau perasa lemon-limun.

Sebuah variasi yang terkenal adalah limun merah jambu, yang dibuat dengan rasa buah tambahan seperti raspberry atau stroberi dan lain-lain, yang memberikan minuman tersebut warna merah jambu.[3]

Kata "limun" di Indonesia juga digunakan untuk menyebut minuman ringan bersoda tradisional, suatu hal yang diadopsi dari penyebutannya oleh bangsa Belanda. Pada umumnya limun diproduksi oleh industri rumahan secara tradisional dan dijajakan secara kaki lima atau dijual di ritel tradisional (toko, warung, dll). Biasanya bahan-bahan utamanya adalah asam sitrat, air, sari buah, gula, air soda, dan karbondioksida dan dikemas dalam berbagai rasa menggunakan botol kaca. Banyak rasa yang ditawarkan minuman limun, seperti jeruk, lemon, kopi, anggur, sirsak, nanas,[4] frambozen, leci, sarsaparilla,[5] temulawak (sari temulawak beruap), air soda, kawista, dll. Nama lain limun yang terkenal seperti "orson" (sebenarnya merupakan merek dagang sebuah sirup non-berkarbonasi[4] produksi Japfa[6] yang populer di era 1980-an), "air menit", "sari temulawak/temu" dan "minuman beruap".

Produk limun sebenarnya dibawa oleh bangsa Belanda yang menjajah Indonesia di awal abad ke-20.[7] Dalam perkembangannya industri limun berkembang pesat dan menjamur di berbagai daerah, dimana satu daerah biasanya memiliki produk limun yang menjadi ciri khasnya.[8] Popularitas limun mulai anjlok akibat mulai masifnya pemasaran minuman soda asing, seperti Coca-Cola, Sprite dan Pepsi. Tercatat masuknya produk tersebut sempat membuat protes UMKM limun di Yogyakarta[9] dan Jawa Tengah pada periode 1970-an.[10] Namun produk limun terus populer hingga kira-kira periode 1990-an, dengan menjadi alternatif minuman ringan asing dengan harga terjangkau.[4]

Saat ini hanya sedikit merek limun yang masih bertahan di Indonesia dan pemasarannya semakin terbatas, berlawanan dengan nasib produk seperti Coca-Cola. Beberapa produsen/merek limun tradisional yang masih bertahan, seperti:
