Lillian Lee

Lillian Lee adalah seorang aktris panggung di New York City dimulai pada awal 1880-an. Dia berada di pemeran Ziegfeld Follies asli pada tahun 1907.[1]

Karier

Lee hanyalah seorang anak kecil ketika dia ditugaskan sebagai bagian dari Meenie di Rip Van Winkle, di sebuah perusahaan yang dipimpin oleh Joseph Jefferson. troupe kemudian melakukan tur di Baltimore, Maryland. Dia membuktikan seorang aktris remaja yang terampil. Dia tumbuh menjadi pemain teater dewasa yang sangat kompeten. Karakter penting pertamanya datang ketika dia menggantikan Rosa Rand yang sakit dalam sebuah drama selama musim 1884.[2]

Myra Goodwin memainkan perempuan terkemuka di Sis, produksi tahun 1885 dari Teater Manhattan. Perusahaan Edward Kidder juga mengambil tujuh drama di jalan tahun itu. Salah satunya, Niagara, dijadwalkan tiba di New York City pada awal tahun 1886. Lee terlibat dalam produksi seperti Mattie Ferguson, Rose Eytinge, Harry Dalton, dan lainnya.[3] "Irish Minstrel" oleh Frederick Marsden dipentaskan di Poole's Theatre, 8th Street dekat Broadway (Manhattan), pada Oktober 1886. WJ Scanlan memainkan pemeran utama dengan Lee sebagai pemeran utama lainnya.[4]

Dia berperan sebagai aktor yang menampilkan "A Midsummer Night's Dream" di Manchester, Massachusetts, pada Juli 1888. Pertunjukan di luar ruangan dilakukan pada malam hari dengan efek lampu listrik.[5]
