Lady's Character

Lady's Character adalah sebuah seri drama Tiongkok tahun 2023. Seri tersebut tayang sejak 6 Februari 2023 dan berakhir pada 2 Maret 2023. Seri tersebut terdiri dari 40 episode. Seri tersebut menampilkan Wan Qian, Liu Mintao dan Xing Fei. Seri tersebut diproduksi Hunan TV dan Mango TV.[1]

Sinopsis

Seorang wanita memiliki jabatan sebagai direktur di sebuah perusahaan. Menjadi gila kerja, dia begitu fokus pada KPI sehingga dia tidak menyadari hubungannya dengan suaminya menjadi renggang. Banyak wanita di departemennya juga menghadapi tantangan khusus gender.

Saat ini, Yao Wei mengetahui bahwa dirinya tengah mengandung. Meski sejak dulu Yao Wei selalu menginginkan seorang anak, namun saat ini dirinya hamil dalam situasi dimana karirnya sedang naik daun.

Sementara itu, bos Yao Wei, Ding Lan, telah merekrut saingan ke dalam perusahaan. Sutradara baru An Chang tidak hanya memenuhi syarat, dia juga mendapat dukungan dari suaminya. Mereka memiliki rumah tangga DINK (penghasilan ganda tanpa anak) yang tampaknya merupakan cara sempurna untuk menghindari masalah yang mengganggu banyak wanita di tempat kerja.

Setelah beberapa pertimbangan, Yao Wei memilih untuk melahirkan, dan keputusan inilah yang mengubah segalanya. Dalam kehidupan pribadinya, Yao Wei dan suaminya mendapatkan kembali perasaan dan kepercayaan satu sama lain.

Di tempat kerja, ia bergandengan tangan dengan "saingannya" untuk membantu sesama rekan wanita mereka. Melalui karakter wanita yang terus-menerus mereka tunjukkan, Yao Wei mulai memahami bahwa kebahagiaan dalam hidup dapat diukur dengan berbagai cara mulai dari kesuksesan dalam karier seseorang hingga menjadi seorang ibu.

Pemimpin perusahaan juga secara bertahap memahami bahwa mengejar keuntungan bukanlah segalanya karena membiarkan karyawan tumbuh dan mendapatkan kepuasan dan kebahagiaan dalam pekerjaan dan kehidupan juga penting.
