Kronobiologi

Kronobiologi adalah bidang ilmu yang mempelajari fenomena periodik (siklus) pada makhluk hidup serta adaptasi mereka pada ritme yang terkait dengan matahari dan bulan.^[1] Siklus ini dikenal sebagai ritme biologis. Kajian kronobiologi terkait antara lain dengan anatomi komparatif, fisiologi, genetika, biologi molekuler, serta perilaku organisme dalam mekanisme ritme biologis.^[1]
