Kota madya (直轄市; Mandarin: Zhíxiá shì; Hokkian Taiwan: Ti̍t-hat chhī; Hakka: Chhṳ̍t-hot sṳ) adalah sebuah unit pembagian administratif di Republik Tiongkok (Taiwan). Di dalam struktur pemerintahan Taiwan, kota madya adalah pembagian administratif tertinggi dan setara dengan provinsi. Sejak restrukturisasi provinsi pada tahun 1998, kota-kota madya di bawah pengaturan langsung Yuan Eksekutif bersama dengan kota provinsi dan kabupaten. Saat ini terdapat 6 kota madya di Taiwan, yaitu Kaohsiung, Taipei Baru, Taichung, Tainan, Taipei, dan Taoyuan.[1][2][3]
Wali kota merupakan pejabat pemerintah tertinggi. Wali kota dipilih langsung oleh penduduk kota madya dan menjabat selama 4 tahun yang dibatasi dalam 2 periode. Selain wali kota, juga terdapat dewan kota, yang dipilih langsung oleh penduduk kota madya selama 4 tahun dan dapat dipilih ulang.[4]
Saat ini, kota-kota madya merupakan lima wilayah metropolitan terpadat di Taiwan yang mencakup lebih dari ⅔ dari populasi nasional.
