Konflik peran

Konflik peran biasanya dialami oleh seseorang ibu rumah tangga karena biasanya ibu rumah tangga sering mengalami permasalahan dalam menjalani peran-peran mereka

Konflik peran adalah konflik yang terjadi karena ada benturan saat kita sedang menjalankan peran-peran tertentu.[1] Konflik peran merupakan bentuk adanya perselisihan antara harapan-harapan yang berkaitan dengan suatu peran.[2] Konflik peran merupakan hasil dari tidak konsistennya harapan-harapan berbagai pihak atau persepsi seseorang dengan adanya perbedaan antara tuntutan peran dan kebutuhan, serta nilai-nilai individu dan sebagainya.[2] Sebagai akibatnya seseorang yang mengalami konflik peran akan berada dalam suasana terombang-ambing, terjepit, dan serba salah.[2] Konflik peran dapat membuat individu tidak dapat mengambil keputusan mana yang lebih baik di antara peran-peran yang dilakukannya.[2] Contoh dari konflik peran yaitu Sebagai ketua PKK, Ibu Herni harus menghadiri rapat. Namun pada saat yang sama, ia harus mengantar anaknya kerumah sakit.[3] Dalam contoh kasus Ibu Herni tersebut terlihat bahwa ada dua hal yang harus dilakukan secara bersamaan sehingga harus membuat Ibu Herni mengambil keputusan mana yang harus dilakukan terlebih dahulu.[3] Dalam konteks kasus tersebut terlihat bahwa apa yang dialami Ibu Herni itu merupakan bentuk dari konflik peran.[3]
