Kittanning (/kɪˈtænɪŋ/ ki-TAN-ing) adalah sebuah wilayah di dan ibu kota wilayah County Armstrong, Pennsylvania, Amerika Serikat.[1] Terletak 36 mil (58 km) timur laut Pittsburgh, di sepanjang tepi timur Sungai Allegheny. Jumlah penduduknya adalah 3.921 jiwa pada sensus 2020.

Nama ini berasal dari Kithanink,[2] yang berarti 'sungai utama' dalam bahasa Lenape atau Delaware, dari kit- 'besar' + hane 'sungai gunung' + -ink (akhiran yang digunakan pada nama tempat). "Sungai utama" adalah istilah Lenape untuk gabungan Allegheny dan Ohio, yang mereka anggap sebagai satu sungai.[3] Wilayah dan jembatannya telah digunakan sebagai latar beberapa film terbaru.

Terdapat 2.251 unit rumah dengan kepadatan rata-rata 2.170,2 per mil persegi (837.9/km2). Komposisi ras di wilayah tersebut adalah 97,31% berkulit putih, 1,57% Afrika Amerika, 0,23% penduduk asli Amerika, 0,25% Asia, 0,08% dari ras lain, dan 0,56% dari dua ras atau lebih. Hispanik atau Latin dari ras apa pun berjumlah 0,67% dari populasi.[5]
