Kinase HUN

Kinase HUN (bahasa Inggris: Hormonally Up-regulated Neu-associated Kinase, HUNK) adalah enzim yang sangat mirip dengan golongan kinase protein serina/treonina SNF-1, dan domain katalitik pada HUNK dikatakan sebagai homolog domain SNF-1 yang baru. HUNK memiliki berkas genetik pada 21q22 kromosom ke 21 pada manusia.[1]

Ekspresi HUNK yang sangat tinggi ditemukan pada sel kanker payudara subtipe HER-2 dan luminal dan diperkirakan berfungsi sebagai penentu status metastasis kanker seperti ditunjukkan model MMTV-MYC pada tikus. Namun hilangnya ekspresi HUNK justru merupakan indikasi terjadinya metastasis pada kanker payudara tipe basal.[2]
