Kevin Downes (lahir 21 September 1972) adalah seorang aktor, penulis, produser dan sutradara asal Amerika Serikat. Downes dibesarkan di Visalia, tiga jam perjalanan di utara Los Angeles. Kebanyakan film Kristen yang melibatkannya dibuat di sana.

Kehidupan dan karier

Ia mempunyai pengalaman bertahun-tahun sebagai penulis, sutradara, produser dan bintang film, kebanyakan dalam film-film rohani. Ia bercita-cita untuk memproduksi film bermutu tinggi yang membagikan pesan kuat mengenai pengharapan, iman dan kasih yang dihasilkan dari hubungan pribadi seseorang dengan Allah melalui Yesus Kristus. Film Mercy Streets di mana ia menjadi produser[1] dinominasikan untuk Best Family Film Award.[2]

Kevin tinggal di Visalia, California dengan istrinya Catherine dan anjingnya Darby. Kevin Downes adalah adik laki-laki produser film Bobby Downes yang mendirikan dan menjabat CEO ChristianCinema.com. Pada tahun 2003, Kevin menulis, memproduksi, menyutradarai dan membintangi film Six: The Mark Unleashed bersama Stephen Baldwin, Eric Roberts, David A. R. White dan Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Film itu dirilis pada bulan Juni 2004.

Pada tahun 2011, Kevin membintangi film Courageous, yang disutradari oleh Alex Kendrick.
